On 30th October Aspandem invited the British Association of Marbella (BAM), to their headquarters in San Pedro. BAM members were given a short tour of the premises, showing the magnificent work that Aspandem does for physically and mentally disabled (often both physically and mentally handicapped) children and adults. The day centre provides respite for the parents and families of the affected people and a specially adapted bus service is provided to take the patients for day care and occupational and educational services, returning them to the various bus stops in Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro and Estepona areas.

After the tour, BAM members were served a superb lunch in the cafeteria, during which Angret Moeller, BAM Treasurer, presented a donation to Maria Jose Morales, president of Aspandem to thank her and her excellent staff for their hospitality.
