The February, BAM monthly lunch was held at the El Capitan Restaurant on 27th March. Many thanks go to Joan for an excellent event.
The next BAM monthly lunch will be at the El Duende bodega on 27th March. The menu will contain meat and fish dishes. Please contact ASAP Joan, 952835947, at the latest by Monday morning 21st April to book your place. The cost for the lunch, which includes the tip and one drink, will be €11. Note; those who do not pre-book are not guaranteed a place. The lunch, as usual, will commence with arrival at 1.30pm for lunch at 2.00pm.

The BAM Charity contribution to IES Victoria Kent School, to augment the supply of English language books, will be presented after a special afternoon tea event on Thursday 10th April at the home of Violette, 2 Calle Viento, Marbella at 4.00pm. Please contact Joan, 952835947, by Monday 7th at the very latest, if you are to attend, so we can plan for the correct numbers attending the event. We are expecting at least 3 teachers from the school. At this time BAM will present the cheque and have photographs taken that both organisations can use for additional publicity. Remember the school has requested BAM members to, later this year; assist at the school with students in conversational exercises. Potential helpers should contact Joan, 952835947. We have 4 names, but need others!
On Saturday 26th April we are arranging a day trip to Antequera and El Torcal. Transport from central Marbella, in a mini bus, will cost €25 per person. Lunch is not included; however there are many inexpensive places for food in Antequera. Please act quickly as numbers are extremely limited. Call Joan, 952835947 immediately to indicate if you want to go. The full transport payment, by the latest Wednesday 9th April, must be paid to secure your place. Places are still available! The minibus will depart from Calvario Church at 8.30am and arrive back at approximately 6.30pm
BAM Charity contribution is to be given to Aspandem during our BAM May monthly lunch at Puerto Azul Restaurant.
