The April BAM monthly lunch was held at the former El Capitan restaurant, on Thursday 30th April. All who attended were somewhat disappointed with value for money and lack of vegetables served. Not a place to rush back to! However, many thanks go to Mary, Norma and Joan for administrating this lunch.
The next BAM monthly lunch will now be held at the Sirocco restaurant formerly called the Puerto Azul restaurant, on Thursday 28th May. The menu, to choose from, will be the menu del dia of the restaurant. Please contact Violette, 952828988, at the latest Monday 25th May, to book your place. The lunch, as usual, will commence with arrival at 1.30pm for lunch at 2.00pm. The cost for the 3 course lunch, which includes the tip and a drink, is €11.00. Please pre-book to assure a guaranteed place.
The following monthly lunch will be held, at the Hong Kong Chinese restaurant, on Thursday 25th June. The location for the July monthly lunch has not yet been decided by the committee. More details will be forthcoming.
Violette has arranged for BAM a trip to the Pompidou and Russian Art Museum in Malaga to go ahead on the 13th May. This should be a great day for those BAM members who decided to attend.
On 8th May, BAM was represented by Joan and Jan, at the Europe Day Celebration, held at Cortijo Miraflores by Dna. Angeles Munoz Uriol, Mayor of Marbella. At the event Jan received on behalf of BAM a certificate of thanks for the contribution BAM does to enhance peace and prosperity in Europe.

The BAM coffee morning event continues to be held on at the San Cristobal, so we hope to see you all every Wednesday from 11:00 in the library.
