The November BAM monthly lunch was held on Thursday, November, 28th at the Puerto Azul restaurant, C/ Camilo Jose Cela 3, Marbella. It was generally considered to be one of the best lunch events this year. Many thanks to Violette, Joan and Angret in working on its success.
Remember: The December, Special Christmas time, BAM monthly lunch will be held on Thursday, December, 12th at the L'Angolino Restaurant, Avenida Ricardo Soriano 29/31, Marbella, 29601.
The Special Christmas time menu will provide a choice of lamb and fish dishes. Please contact Violette, 952828988 or Joan, 952835947, at the latest by Monday morning to book your place and advise them of your lamb or fish preference. The restaurant is very cosy with a limited seating of 24 places. Your place will only be guaranteed once full payment, €25, has been made. The cost for the 3 course lunch includes the tip and wine on the tables. The lunch, as usual, will commence at 1.30pm for 2.00pm.
The BAM monthly lunches for the first quarter of 2014 are to take place at the following restaurants;
Thursday, January 30th San Cristobel
Thursday, February 27th Jaipur
Thursday, March 27th El Capitan
At the recent BAM committee meeting it was decided that early in 2014 another venue will be trialled for our Wednesday coffee morning sessions. Two locations are currently being investigated and a final decision will be soon made and forwarded accordingly.
A BAM shopping/lunch trip, late Feb/early March, to the Aspandem Garden Centre is to be arranged. Please contact Fran, 952927807, if you are likely to attend and if you would require transport or could offer seats in your own vehicles to other BAM members.
